Description

Sole Source Justification is as follows: only known source that is factory trained to maintain the type of water softeners and resin beds located at various locations at Hill AFB within the required timeframe for maintenance. Anticipated Award Date 01 APR 01 MAINTAIN SERVICES ON WATER SOFTENERS AND RESIN BEDS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN HILL AFB TO INCLUDE TESTING, MATERIALS, AND APPLIANCES SUCH AS ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, TIMERS AND HYDRAULIC VALVES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK. Performance Period 01 APR 01 thru 30 Sep 01 Plus 2 Option Years The approximate issue/response date will be 23 FEB 2001. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. See our Web page. To: Culligan Water Conditioning, Ogden UT. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
