Description

The solicitation is hereby amended to change item k on page 15 to read as follows: k. An individual elevator shall not be out of service for more than three (3) consecutive workdays. In the event an elevator is out of service for more than three (3) consecutive workdays without written justification by the contractor and approval by the COR/CSR, the Government will reduce the monthly payment by the amount of $100.00 dollars per working day per elevator for the Passenger Elevators at the J.F. Williams Building and for the Freight Elevators at the J.W. McCormack Building. The reduction will be $75.00 per working day per elevator for the Passenger Elevators at the J. W. McCormack Building. Said deductions will continue until the day after the COR/CSR certifies that the elevator is working satisfactorily. No elevator shall be out of service for more than a total of ten (10) calendar days per year. It is also amended to eliminate the Performance Standards( which are addressed elsewhere) starting at the bottom of page 23 and ending on page 24. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation will remain the same.
