Description
Amendment to Synopsis posted 01 December 2000 for A-76 Cost Comparison Study for Data Processing and Video Teleconferencing (Multi-Function) Services, Corporate Information Center (CIC), U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM)-This solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is more economical, this solicitation will be canceled and no contract will be awarded. If a contract is awarded, the Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract for the Data Processing (Integrated Systems Support and Multiple Services Support) and Video Teleconferencing Services. Period of performance is a two month phase-in transition period, one base year plus four one-year options for a total of sixty-two months, beginning on or about 01 November 2000-A copy of the RFP may be accessed now via the internet at https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/acquisition/procbbs.html. After reaching this website, choose Base Operations Division to view or download the solicitation. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE RFP WILL BE ACCEPTED. Industry Proposals are being solicited on a full and open competition basis. Significant evaluation factors include technical, price, and past performance. Full participation will require access to information/areas that are not considered appropriate for release/access by foreign entities; therefore, this action is restricted to companies that currently have or can obtain and maintain a U. S. issued facility/personal security clearance. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
