Description

Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate, Electro-Optical Sensor Technology Division (AFRL/SNJT) solicits research proposals for the Spectral Infrared Remote Imaging Transition Testbed (SPIRITT) Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD). This amendment extends the proposal due date, corrects an error, and provides additional information for PRDA 01-06-SNK-REV, published on 28 Dec 2000. The due date for proposals is hereby extended to 8 Mar 2001, 3:00 p.m. local time. In the Program Research and Development Announcement (PRDA), Section A, Paragraph 4.b incorrectly states that "Generation of classified material for this solicitation is authorized only on equipment approved for classified processing by Air Force TEMPEST authorities." TEMPEST requirements do NOT apply to this program. A DD Form 254 is now attached to this amendment to state security requirements. In the PRDA, Section B, Paragraph 2 provides the program funding profile. The total option amount is given as $4.5M. The Air Force is removing $1M from this amount in order to set it aside for the aircraft prime contractor, and will NOT be included in the funding for this SPIRITT contract. The new FY breakout for the option is as follows: FY03-$1.5M; FY04-$1.5M; FY05-$0.5M; Total-$3.5M. Direct all questions to one of the POCs listed below.
