Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, proposed procurement is to supply liquid oxygen for the Richard B. Russell Dam and Lake to meet 2001 calendar year requirement, with the option to extend the contract for two one-year periods. Prospective contractors must be capable of supplying approximately 8,000 tons of liquid oxygen per year for a base year and two one-year options. The period of the delivery in any contract year is estimated to begin not earlier than May and ending in December. A maximum rate of 200 tons per day is expected to occur for several weeks during late summer and early fall. The delivery site will accommodate 20-ton tanker trucks. Set-aside type: This is an unrestricted procurement. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 2813 and NAICS code is 325120, the size standard is 1,000. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about February 15, 2001.
