Description

DESC: This announcement serves as your advanced notice. Be sure to register, as instructed herein, to obtain the project and any amendments. Furnish material, labor and equipment to fabricate one (16) floating mooring bitts for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District. The floating mooring bitts barge shall be constructed in strict accordance with the Government furnished drawings and specifications. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville Repair Station, Ohio River Mile 606. Delivery shall be no later than Aug 31, 2001. This acquisition includes an option for (16) floating mooring bitts identical in construction, specifications and delivery requirements. This acquisition is restricted to small business. The NAIC Code is 332313,and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The issue date for this solicitation is on or about February 15, 2001 and the last day for receipt of bids is 20 MAR 01 @ 2:30 pm, local time.This project will be available by downloading from the Internet only. The project specifications files are portable Document Format Files (PDF) and can be viewed navigated or printed using Acrobat Adobe Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are 486 based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater and 8-MB application RAM.
