Description

Floor Covering Services IDIQ. These services includes remove carpet (direct glued), remove carpet (tackless w/padding), remove vinyl composite tile (VCT), remove ceramic or quarry tile, remove parquet floor covering, repair existing sub-floor, prepare and even sub-floor, install carpet w/direct glue down, install carpet w/tack strips, install carpet on stairways, install carpet padding, install vinyl composite tile (VCT), provide and install ceramic tile (13 in x 13 in), provide and install ceramic tile (8 in x 8 in), provide and install ceramic tile on walls (13 in x 13 in), provide and install ceramic tile on walls (8 in x 8 in), provide and install ceramic tile on walls (4 in x 4 in), provide and install quarry tile (8 in x 8 in), provide and install quarry tile (6 in x 6 in), provide and install parquet floor covering (large), provide and install parquet floor covering (small), remove and install cove base/baseboard, provide and install aluminum threshold strips, provide and install aluminum nosing for steps, restretch existing carpet, miscellaneous work to support floor covering. This service has a period of Basic period and four option years. The magnitude of this service is between 250,000 and 500,000 dollars. Performance Price tradeoffs (PPT) procedures will be utilized for this procurement and proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis. North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 235520. This requirement is RESTRICTED to Mainland Portugal and its territories in accordance with the Bilateral Agreement between Portugal and the United States dated 1995. The request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading and viewing at Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov or at our Internet homepage: http://www.lajes.af.mil then click on Business Opportunities, then click on solicitations on or about mid Fed 01 (subject to change). The RFP package will be available on the Internet only. This solicitation is available electronically. The solicitation, plans, specifications, or drawings will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government_s best interest. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium.
