Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to repair and construct an addition to liberty square. Liberty square is a larger recreation building and the work includes, but is not limited to constructing new entry vestibule, toilet facilities, stairs, canopies, providing new standing seam metal roof, new window/doors, landscaping, upgrading/adding finishes, mechanical and electrical items, adding a sprinkler system throughout, in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the Technical Provisions, JFSD 960035A2 and JFSD 960035B. The resulting contract will be a fixed price contract with a magnitude of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The performance period will be 210 calendar days. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required. The government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. If you are a HUBZone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by e-mail to keith.couser@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capacity, list of similar jobs involving renovations and/or additions to larger buildings used for recreational or similar purposes completed within the last three years. You must also include references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 2 Feb 01. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We estimate solicitation issue date to be 13 Feb 01. All contractors MUST certify by stating that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
