Description

Provide all equipment, labor, materials, supervision, quality control and administration to perform the post-wide grounds maintenance services for the cantonment, high visibility, and outlying areas of Fort Jackson, SC during the base period 1 April 2001 through 31 March 2002 with four (4) one-year option periods. Beginning date of base period may be adjusted contingent on award date of contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be issued by mid-March 2001. Total area to be mowed is approximately 1100-1200 acres, with some areas to be cut weekly, some every three weeks, and some two times primarily during a twenty-seven (27) week mowing season. A pre-proposal site inspection will be conducted (date to be determined). The applicable NAICS code is 561730 and the size standard is $5 million. NOTE: This is a restricted procurement for 100 percent small-business set-aside.
