Description

Seeking sponsors for the 5th Annual United States Air Force Marathon. The 2001 event will be held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday, September 22, 2001. The 5th annual race is expected to capture an audience of over 3,000 runners and 10,000 spectators. The event reaches both military and civilian runners, as well as the general public. Last year's marathon had runners from all 50 states and 10 foreign countries. Sponsorship opportunities exist in the form of in-kind products and services, financial support for marathon activities and donations. Various levels of sponsorship support are available and sponsor benefits may include logo placement on event promotional materials, sampling/promotional opportunities at the event, signage, product displays, and other forms of sponsor recognition. More than one sponsor may be accepted in a product category and product exclusivity may be considered in relationship to the level of sponsorship. All offers will be considered. We are also accepting advanced sponsorship proposals for the 6th Annual United States Air Force Marathon, to be held in September 2002. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
