Description

The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervison, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to provide guard services at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Portsmouth, Virginia. Work is to be accomplished by means of a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity type contract. The contract term is for a base period of one (1) year and anticipated options to extend for an additional period of one to twelve months, with a total duration not to exceed 60 months. The NAICS code is 561612. The proposed procurement listed herein has been accepted by the Small Business Administration for competition in the 8(a) program. It is being offered for competition ONLY to eligible 8(a) concerns. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about Februrary 8, 2001. The estimated Bid Opening Date (BOD) is March 9, 2001.
