Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service intends to enter into a sole source firm fixed price contract with the MEd Stat Group, Inc., Chicago, Il 60694-1716 for the IMSystem. This will be done to comply with the ORYX initiative required for JCAHO accreditation. The purpose is to provide a performance measurement system to eight small and rural Indian Health Service Hospitals in the Aberdeen Area. The contractor is an approved JCAHO vendor for the ORYX project and esperienced in using data from the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS- a requirement of the Indian Health Service) and is able to commence providing services immediately. There must not be an additional requirement to purchase or use additional computer hardware or software and there must be an interface with the RPMS System. The performance measurement system shallhave the ability to measure clinical performance and perform statistical rate/atio and standard deviation/variance. Data will be stratified and risk adjusted to meet ORYX requirements. Services are required for the period of 1/26/01 through 1/25/02. SEE NOTE 22*****
