Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is currently seeking potential Buy-Indian vendors for a Firm Fixed-Price, Non-Personal Service Contract to provide disposal of solid waste weekly at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital, Pine Ridge, South Dakota 57770. The Pine Ridge IHS Hospital consists of forty-five (45) quarter units (South Compound) and thirty-six (36) quarter units at the old hospital site (North Compound). These locations together require removal of three thousand nine hundred cubic feet of solid waste. The waste generated consists of typical medical and residential disposable items. The disposal of infectious medical waste is not a part of this contract. Period Performance for base year one (1) will be March 1, 2001 through February 28, 2002, and two (2) one (1) year option years. The first option year will begin on March 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003. The secound option year will begin March 1, 2003 through February 29, 2004. This is a Buy-Indian Set-Aside, restricted to Buy-Indian firms as defined in 25 USC 47.
