This means that a company must go through a source approval process proving capability to manufacture aerospace items which are the same or very similar in fit, form, function and manufacturing processes as the items identified below. This notice does not mean that the Air Force is contemplating the purchase of these items in the near future nor does it mean that any drawings or specifications are available.
