Description

This Notice hereby serves as the Presolicitation Notice and the Sources Sought Notice. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure two (2) each Centrifugal Pumps, Buffalo Pumps P/N NG15773-PMPEND(CW), Size 3X4SL, Drawing Number CA11534. Pumps are used on the S/W Cooling Pump found on the Reduction Gear onboard the 378' Coast Guard cutters. IT IS THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENTION TO SOLICIT ONLY BUFFALO PUMPS, The Original Equipment Manufacturer, and/or their authorized distributors. The ONLY technical information possessed by the Coast Guard is noted above. All technical and engineering specifications, drawings, etc., are proprietary information of the OEM. ONLY the P/N referenced in this Notice shall be accepted for this acquisition! Delivery shall be 210 days after the date of contract award. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Other potential sources capable of supplying this particular Pump can submit a quotation which shall be considered. ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AT THIS TIME. Sources interested in obtaining a copy of the Request For Quotation (RFQ) MUST FAX A REQUEST TO (410) 762-6056, ATTENTION KELLY CARNEY. Electronic or facsimile transmission of quotations shall NOT be accepted. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26. Attention Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
