Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to negotiate award of a sole source acquisition with Westcoast Silverdale Hotel, Silverdale WA, for hotel rooms in support of "Dingo Dawn", a military exercise. Silverdale Hotel is the only known source (1) less than 5 miles from Naval Submarine Base Bangor WA, (2) less than 5 miles from the Kitsap Pavilion (Fairgrounds Rd, Bremerton WA), (3) listed on the US Fire Administration Hotel-Motel Master List as required by law (PL 101-391), (4) having an in-house dining facility capable of accommodating 100 people at a single sitting for dinners 1-7 DEC 2001, (5) block booking of 100 rooms in a single facility 1-7 DEC 2001. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes/proposals nor a solicitation of offers. This notice is published for informational purposes only. No contract/order will be awarded on the basis of information that may be received in response to this notice, but such information may be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Expected date of award is 31 January 2001.
