Description

The US Army, Installation Business Office-Contracting has a requirement for providing all personnel, equipment, labor, supplies, supervision, transportation and other items necessary to publish and distribute a civilian enterprise newspaper, The Paraglide, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The period of performance will be 01 May 2001 through 30 April 2002 with four (4) one-year option periods. The Paraglide newspaper will be published and distributed at no cost to the Government. Contractor shall look to advertising revenues to fund costs of production and shall solicit, sell and collect all revenues. The Contractor shall print and distribute 25,000 copies weekly, of a 4-section, metro-sized newspaper, 30 pages minimum, to units on post, family quarters and various points at Fort Bragg. Contractor must be located within a 50-miles radius of Fort Bragg. Solicitation number is DAKF40-01-R-0009. The projected date of issuance of the solicitation is 05 February 2001,with receipt of offers due 07 March 2001. The issue date and date of receipt of offers is estimated. Actual date and time for receipt of offers will be specified in the solicitation. It is the Government's intent to issue the solicitation and amendments (if any) electronically via the Internet. Upon release to public, solicitation will be available for download at website http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/Contractorinfo.htm. The solicitation will not be available in hard copy. For determining business size on this project, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511110/500 employees. Contractors wishing to do business with the Government must be registered in the CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 01 June 1998 or the contractor will not be eligible for award.
