Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Monarch Lodge, Monarch, CO for lodging and meals during 27 January 2001 through 23 February 2001for 10th Special Forces cold weather training. Two-man rooms shall be provided in the listed quantities during specified dates: 7 rooms for 27-30 Jan 01 (4 days); 19 rooms for 31 Jan -- 3 Feb, 7 -- 10 Feb and 14-17 Feb 01 (12 days); 24 rooms during 4 -- 7 Feb, 11 -- 14 Feb, and 18 -21 Feb 01 (12 days); and 2 rooms during 22 -- 23 Feb 01 (2 days). Meals (ala carte) are for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during 27 Jan 01 through 23 Feb 01 as required. Totals: 1970 breakfast; 523 lunches; 2003 dinners. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for proposal or quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
