Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source acquisition pursuant to FAR 12 with Versa Management Systems Inc. for the development of the Electronic Disability (eDib) System's Electronic Folder (EF) Generic Interface that allows for the transfer of data between an EF and a Disability Determination Services (DDS) pilot state. The pilot test generic interface is for a disability system operating in a DDS using licensed proprietary software developed by Versa Management Systems Inc. Versa Management Systems is the only known source capable of providing the required services. Interested sources that believe they have the ability to perform the services required can identify their capability to Leslie Hyman, Contract Specialist via email at leslie.hyman@ssa.gov. Responses must be received by 3:00 p.m. EST on January 31, 2001. The Government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. This is neither a request for quotation nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no viable responses are received by January 31, 2001, the Government will issue a Purchase Order to Versa Management Systems, Inc.
