Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to award a sole source commercial contract to OPNET Technologies, Inc, 3400 International Drive NW, Washington D.C. 20008. This acquisition is for the re-instatement of software maintenance and support for licenses for the OPNET Modeler and Radio Module, and annual software maintenance and support. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC (c)(1) -- and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 3:00 p.m., 23 January 2001 to: Stephanie Baker/DTN1, (703) 607-6910. Award is anticipated on or about 24 January 2001. See Note 22.
