Description

This amendment is issued to provide additional information. The period of performance for this requirement is 12-February-01 through 01-June-01 and the lead time for cable should be considered in the period of performance. The CLINs, hours, quantities and footage are to be quoted as specified in the solicitation. Both the wall mount and the fiber splice case are standard 24 port. The footage of the longest pull is 1 and 1/2 miles. The size of the house interduct required is 1 and 1/4 inches. The size interduct for CLIN-0003 is 2 to 4 inches. In order to feed cable through conduit a winch or pulley may be used. There was no duct survey performed from building Z140 to building W143, but space in manholes is available down Virginia Ave. The exact Fiber termination location for each building / MPOPS: is W150A (new) next to HREN equipment, N26 (next to HREN equipment) 1st floor, V117 (next to HREN equipment), W143 (1st floor switch room next to HREN equipment). LP20: Telco Closet, Z140: Telco Closet, A81: Telco closet, P1: Telco Closet. MPOPS are only one room with a vault. If additional conduit pathways are required between the various listed building the government will be responsible for providing the pathways. The conduit pathways will be free and clear of blockage and/or debris. The brand of cable and connectivity listed in the scope of work is Seicor or equal. The size and type of the manholes provided are type a, b ,c ,d and sizes are vary from 6x12x7 to 5x7x10. The closing date of this solicitation has been extended through COB 25- January_2001 .
