Description

The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for NTE 50 single user units and NTE 3 network packages of a Medical Reference Library on CD ROM and intends to negotiate with TETON DATA SYSTEMS, 125 S KING STREET, JACKSON, WY 83001 as the only source. Procurement of these items are on an other than full and open competition basis and is anticipated from TETON DATA SYSTEMS. The single user package and the network package must include the following titles: Starter Package which includes: Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment, Current OB/GYN Diagnosis and Treatment, Current Emergency Diagnosis and Treatment, Current Pediatric Diagnosis and Treatment, Current Surgical Diagnosis and Treatment, Merck Manual, Treatment of Psychiatric Disorders, AHFS Drug Information, Griffith's 5-Minute Clinical Consult, Review of Medical Physiology, Current Orthopedic Diagnosis and Treatment, DSM IV, The Medical Letter, Dictionary of Acronyms and Abbreviations, Ellenhorn Medical Toxicology, Harrison's 14 Principles of Internal Medicine, Public Health and Preventative Medicine, Color Atlas and Synopsis of Clinical Dermatology, Software License. Contract award will be for the above titles CLIN 0001 Single User, not to exceed 50 copies CLIN 0002 Network User, not to exceed 3 copy. FOB destination pricing is requested. All delivery addresses will be will be within continental US and each Compact Disk will be sent via the United States Postal Services, Registered Mail. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document; proposals are being requested and a written Request for Quotation will not be issued. Responses must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirements. The Request for Quotation Number is N62645-01-T-6000. The Request for quotation document and purchase order incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The North American Industry Classification System code is 511210 (SIC would be 7372) and the small business size is $18 Million. This requirement will be fulfilled by providing 1 CD ROM with all the titles listed above for each single user location and each network location as specified in the purchase orders. Delivery and acceptance will be by 31 March 2001. The Government reserves the right to issue multiple purchase orders to accommodate different Government paying offices. FAR Clause 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions Simplified Acquisition (Other Than Commercial Items, July 2000, applies to this purchase.
