Description

SUPPLIES SOURCES SOUGHT. The Tropical Prediction Center/National Hurricane Center (TPC/NHC) has a requirement for the upgrade of the GOES GVAR Receiver Hardware and Software Ingest system. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The company is Global Imaging, 201 Lomas Sante Drive, Suite 380, Solana Beach, CA 92075. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by submitting a written request for RFQ. No. NWWX8000100015PY. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to be considered, firms must furnish detailed information concerning their capability to provide these items. Such information shall include at a minimum: name, telephone number and point of contact, ability to provide the upgrade to the GOES satellite system, name and telephone number of firms to whom this service or similar service has been provided previously. If no qualified responses are received, the Government intends to contract with the Global Imaging for the required upgrade.
