Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a class of orders for a period of one year under BOA N00019-97-G-0095 with Smiths Industries Aerospace & Defense Systems, Inc. 7-11 Vreeland Road, Florham Park NJ 07932 for Change Kits, Engineering, Prototyping and Testing of Change Kits, Engineering Technical Services, Engineering Studies and Support Services, Training Program, Field Engineering and Logistics Support Spare and Repair Parts, and Technical Manuals and Associated Data for the AN/ALQ-165 Aircraft Interface Units for the F/A-18C/D/E/F and F-14D aircraft. As the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-1665 Aircraft Interface Units, Smiths Industries is the only known source available to provide the required effort in the required timeframe.
