Description

THE DOCUMENTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED VIA CD-ROM, ONLY. The work will be performed at Ice Harbor Dam and will upgrade existing powerhouse elevator. The existing elevator is an electric traction type elevator and will have 3500 lb capacity, 350 FPM travel speed, 117.5 feet total travel height, and will serve 8 landings. Items to be replaced or added include: hoist motor; hoist gear box; elevator brake; motor generator set; counterweights; hoistway cables; buffers for counterweight and elevator cab; elevator electrical systems and wiring including the control cabinet, disconnect switch, motor feeders, and all associated controls; hoistway door operators, hoistway door hangers, tracks, and rollers; ADA compliant operating controls, handrails, and communications devises, and new hall call stations at each floor landing; lobby smoke detectors; telephone cable and communication devices; wall partition with fire-related access doors; elevator shaft vent and louver; elevator machine room HVAC; relocation of existing expansion/make-up water tank. Also included will be removal and disposal of elevator components being replaced. ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION: The estimated cost range for this job is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $11.5 million. All responsible business sources may submit an offer which may be considered.
