Description

The Contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary for lawn maintenance and leaf removal service at the Hampton National Cemetery, ( Hampton and Phoebus sections), Cemetery Road at Marshall Avenue and 1 County Street, Hampton, VA 23667. Work include mowing, edging, and trimming all grass as well as collecting and removing fallen leaves and small twigs within the cemetery, and outside perimeter enclosure walls. The contract covers base period April 1, 2001 through March 31, 2002, with three 1-year options to extend the term of the contract. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS Code 561730 and a size standard of $5 million are applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid. All requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Ms. Mary A. Moss, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference Solicitation Number IFB 786-22-01 on remittances. No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mail on or about February 1, 2001.
