Description

The 180th Fighter Wing, Base Contracting Office intends to procure Ancillary Services issuing a Delivery Order against GS-07F-8785D from Advantor Systems Corporation, 6101 Lake Ellenor Drive, Orlando Florida 32809. The 180th Fighter Wing is currently covered under the Advantor Systems Total System Support package which expires 31 March 2001. This package contains the following services (a) 24 hour/7day Answer Center Support, (b) Product software upgrades, (c) Overnight replacement of defective parts, (d) On-site preventative maintenance visits on monitoring and field equipment performed annually (e) Advantor training, (f) Annual re-certification for operator and system administrator (g) Field equipment parts exchange for defective components (h) Annual on-site technical certification training (i) Technician on-site to troubleshoot and repair any Advantor-related problems. Under GS-07F-8785D,the Advantor Systems Corporation will provide ancillary services for Advantor Intrusion Detection equipment which is installed and located at the 180th Fighter Wing, 2660 S. Eber Road, Swanton, Ohio 43558-9645. The minimum ancillary services required by the 180th Fighter Wing include CLIN 0001: Answer Center Support; CLIN 0002 Advantage Suite for Network Advanced Replacement; CLIN 0003: Advantage Suite for Networks Preventative Maintenance; CLIN 0004: Field Equipment Parts Exchange and CLIN 0005: 24-hour 7 days a week repair service within maximum 6-hour response time. These services shall include routine service visits, emergency service, repair/replace parts to maintain the intrusion detection system to its original specifications, labor, travel, and parts covered. The period of performance requested is April 1, 2001 through 30 September, 2001 based on FAR 52.232-18 FUND AVAILABILITY. Interested offerors may identify their capabilities in writing to the 180th FW Base Contracting Officer, SMSgt Cindy Martin. Interested offerors other than Advantor Systems Corporation shall include their business size and their experience and capability on servicing Advantor Intrusion Detection Systems, if any in preventattive maintenance, repair upgrade, response, trianing and inspections of the alarm system. The NAIC is 561621 with a standard size of $9 million. The capability statement must provide adequate information to demonstrate the ability to perform the required services for Advantor Systems . This notice is not a Request for Quotation. However, interested parties may identify their capability to provide these services for Advantor Intrusion Detection Equipment and satisfy the Government's minimum requirements no later than 23 January 2001. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A solicitation document is not available. A fixed price purchase delivery order shall be awarded when funding becomes available. This is not a request for a quote and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Award to other than Advantor Systems Corporation will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets all qualification requirements at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2.
