Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure maintenance services for Consolidated Avionics Support Station (CASS) High Power Device Test Set (HPDTS) under Basic Agreement N68335-00-H-0103 (Consolidated Service Program) with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corporation, Orlando, Florida. The HPDTS was designed, developed and manufactured by SEI, St. Louis, MO. It is an additional rack used in conjunction with a CASS station to test high power aviation components. Lockheed Martin is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer of CASS. Lockheed Martin is considered the only firm with the requisite knowledge, expertise, trained technicians and spares to adequately maintain the CASS station and any add-on bays including the HPDTS. This requirement will be negotiated with Lockheed Martin to satisfy HPDTS maintenance related requirements both aboard ship and land based (including FMS) for the duration of the CSP agreement; potentially 2008. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
