Description

The Bureau of the Census in Jeffersonville, Indiana wishes to replace an existing Ascom Hasler Champ mailing system with a new mailing system. At a minimum the new system shall include a Pentium 233 MHz processor with a 6.4 GB disk drive, 43 MB RAM, CDROM drive, 3.25" FDD, mouse, 56 modem, 3 Com ports, 1 LPT port, 2 USB ports, 10/100 network card, keyboard, iMCM mail management software, windows, report printer, platform/cabinet, subscription for USPS rate increases, change in rate structures, updates for system software and postage meter rental. The system must comply with performance and other specifications as listed in the referenced solicitation. Census also has existing mailing equipment and associated computer equipment available for trade-in value. A copy of the solicitation can be made available upon request via phone or fax. Please reference the solicitation number. All responses to this requirement are due by 5:00 p.m. January 31, 2001. The systems delivery and installation is needed as soon as possible following award notice.
