Description

Furnish and deliver one (1) light underground diamond core drill similar or equal to Model Number Diamec 232 or Model Number Onram 100. a) The core drill shall incorporate a hydraulic drill head, rod holder, adjustable rod guide, feed boom, and two (2) mounting frames, one a skid type and the other a single-column type; b) The power pack shall consist of an electric motor to drive a main hydraulic pump(s) and one or more auxiliary hydraulic pump(s); c) An operator's control panel shall be used to centrally control the drill and the operator's panel shall be separate from the drill and mounting frame. The diamond core drill and all component parts and accessories shall be new and of current standard production of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the manufacture of diamond core drills. The unit shall be delivered complete with all components needed for routine use in coring and drilling in dam drainage galleries and tunnels and shall be a small size and light weight for manually moving to work sites. All parts requiring periodic maintenance and servicing shall be readily accessible. The drill will be delivered F.O.B. Destination, Billings, Montana, Bureau of Reclamation Warehouse, 1923 Minnesota Avenue Door A, upon calling (406) 247-7813 or (406) 247-7820 so a Reclamation employee can be on premises for receipt of merchandise. This requirement is being procured under "Commercial Items" under "Best Value" procedures and price is not the major consideration for determination of award. T he Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be made available on or around January 30, 2001, and quotes are tentatively due on February 28, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3545. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 333131. To receive a copy of the RFQ, fax a request to (406) 247-7798. The fax must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification and Duns numbers. The faxes shall be to the attention of Hart Blackeagle or Beverly Beckman.
