Description

The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for the procurement of approximately sixteen (16) AN/APG-73Radar Upgrade (RUG) Phase I Retrofit kits and seven (7) AN/APG-73 RUG Phase II Retrofit Kits, or such other quantities as may be authorized and approved by Congress. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00383-98-G-001A with Raytheon Systems Company, PO Box 92426, Los Angeles, CA 90009. Raytheon Systems Company is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/APG-73 radar, and is the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, tooling and special test equipment necessary to produce the RUG Phase II Retrofit Kits in a timely manner.
