Description

The George Washington Memorial Parkway has a requirement for mowing and line trimming on four locations between the George Mason Bridge area and Alexandria, VA (Central Parkway). The total acerage for mowing is estimated at 140 acres with 4,000 linear feet of line trimming. Vendor must be capable of completing the mowing and trimming cycle for each area within four (4) days. All areas are developed and contain high densities of pedestrians, vehicles, utilities, and structures. The exact quantity of work will depend upon the changes in the weather. Contract award will be made for one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option years. Request for Quotations will be available on or about January 16, 2001.
