Description

NASA/HQ plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for production, operations and maintenance support services for the NASA Headquarters Audio Video Center, located at 300 E Street, SW, Washington, DC. Support services include: audio/video productions, operations, video on the web productions, video library management, equipment design, and associated engineering, repair, service and maintenance. A cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is anticipated, with a 2-year basic period and one, 3-year option period. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 513120 and $10.5 Mil., respectively. The provisions and clauses in the RFO and model contract are those in effect through FAC 97-20 . All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about January 23, 2001 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about February 23, 2001. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
