Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included by electronic notice. Electronic solicitations may be obtained at the following URL: http//www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. The electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will be issued. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. The Department of Veterans Affairs, White River Jct., VT is soliciting proposals to provide 1 FTE Internal Medicine Physician for the period January 22, 2001, through April 1, 2001, with one 3-month option to renew the contract. The individual will be assigned to the Outpatient Clinic at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, White River Jct., VT. The solicitation number is 405-14-01. This solicitation is issued as an RFP. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621999. Requirement is to provide 1 full time Internal Medicine Physician. Any individual proposed to provide services under this contract must hold the credentials of a board certified or board eligible medical practitioner in internal medicine. This is an emergency procurement and all responses are due no later than 1/17/01. Evaluations will be made on availability, qualifications, past performance, price, and small disadvantaged business participation.
