Description

USCG in Alameda, CA proposes to contract for Dockside Repair of USCGC CHASE in San Diego, CA, during the period of 9 Apr through 21 May 2001. Work includes, vent duct cleaning, tanks open and inspect, valve overhauls, stack and star deck renewal, main diesel engine cooler piping mod, turbine exhaust stack uptakes cleaning. On 26 Jan 2001, an IFB will be issued in accordance with the SBCDP. For Women-Owned and disadvantaged business enterprises, the department of Transportaiton (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accoutns receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
