Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F45613-01-Q-0017 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. North American Industry Classification System Code 315211. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside. The contractor shall provide Desert Flight Suits, Mfg. Barrier Wear or equal, as listed on the attached Pricing Schedule,which is incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: http://www.eps.gov/. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000), applies to this acquisition. Offerors may submit their offer via mail or fax. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitaion requirements and provides the lowest total price. FAR 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000), and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 1999) apply to this acquisition.
