Description

(I) This is a synopsitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be available on the internet. (II) Solicitation F02601-01-T0003 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under North American Industrial Classification Code 3359, size standard 500 employees. (V) Line items are for electrical supplies. Line item 0001, 12 each 14.4 kv switch, 600amp knifeblade, high voltage disconnect switch, deadend brackets, captive hardware, parallel groove connectors and hardware, Mfg is AB Chance, Mfg is M3D-62BCDP. Line item 0002,12 each Lugs, size 500 mcm, this is a crimp on a 2 ea mounting hole 12_ diameter and 1.75 inch space, fits 500 mcm stranded copper wire, color brown. Mfg is 3M, part number is 31166. Line item 0003 is 1 switch with a dead front, 14.4 kv amperage, 600 amp with switching for 200 amp fused laterals. Mfg is S & C Electrical Co. Line item 0004 is for 12 ea. deadbreak connector, 600 amp T-body bead break for connecting 250 mcm to switches and other high voltage equipment. Mfg is Elastimold and part number is 166LRD5280. Line item 0005 is 3 rolls of 700 ft each of cable, epr, 500mcm, 15kv, copper. 15,000 bolt copper conductor, epr 133% insulation uncoated copper tape shield, pvc jacket, type mv-90 (VII) Deliver by 15 February 2001. Place of delivery: CE Supply Store/GOCESS, Building 5320, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. F.O.B. POINT IS DESTINATION. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies.
