Description

Sole source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a contract with Ohio State University's Center for Automotive Research on a sole source basis. This action shall be initiated under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number DAAD01-01-G-0003. The required project shall task the OSU to conduct a Duty Cycle Study of various types of vehicles. The project will include concurrent activities of personnel of OSU's Center for Automotive Research to conduct background research, literature surveys, collection, and analyses of actual field and industry use plus test data to produce realistic duty cycle information. This data will be used to produce technical reports, develop math models to represent real-world conditions, and assemble databases for use by Government, industry and research laboratories for decision making. The USAYPG does not intend to issue a written solicitation but rather will place a contract under the referenced BOA. Reference Number for this project is W81R8T-0304-RM01.
