Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This solicitation is not a set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379 with a large business size standard of $200,000,000.00. NIMA plans to procure on a sole source basis, Socet Set Software licenses for educational use for worldwide National Imagery and Mapping College (NIMC) administered training and upgrade entitlement for educational socet set Licenses. And associated maintenance in support of the NIMA educational use. BAE Systems is the developer and only authorized maintenance provider of the software. Under the authority of USC 2304(c) (1) pursuant to FAR 6.301.1, only one responsible source and no other items/services will satisfy agency requirements. Delivery is expected to be 12 days FOB destination to the following location; National Imagery and Mapping School, Ft. Belvoir, VA. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition with no addenda. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offeror. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. CBD Note 22 Applies to this Acquisition. Interested parties shall submit offers with the following information: Offeror's 9 digit Contractor Establishment Code (CEC); Federal Tax Identification Offers are to be delivered to the address if different, and business size.
