Description
The US Army TACOM/ARDEC is seeking qualified firms for the production of up to 400 each portable vehicle capture systems for use at traffic control points for GFY01 and GFY02. The following performance parameters are required: vehicle size: 7,500 lbs.; vehicle speed: 45 mph; stopping distance: 200 feet; remote activation method: wired; activation distance: 300 feet; installation time: 2 hours; installation crew: 3 service members; system weight: 600 lbs., total system weight: 1,000 lbs., lane width coverage: single and two lane; reconfiguration to standby mode after activation: 10 minutes; reconfiguration to standby mode after capture: 30 minutes; recovery time: 30 minutes. The Government does not intend to facilitize prospective offerors. Any offeror will be required to self-facilitize at their own expense. Interested manufacturers are requested to submit a capability statement by electronic commerce (EC) to koumaras@pica.army.mil which must address all of the performance requirements as well as the items delineated under the note number indicated below.
