Description

The following solicitation will be available on the below cited homepages on 7 Dec 2000. Operation of the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM), Ft. Riley, KS. DOIM is responsible for functions including, but not limited to, all aspects of telecommunications, automation, records management, and mail/distribution. The Automation function includes maintaining the existing network support architecture as it incorporates advances in technology and upgrades in commercial off-the-shelf applications. Services to support the purchase, allocation, and maintenance of computer systems throughout Fort Riley. The Directorate of Contracting anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 2 Nov 00. This solicitation is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7376, Computer Facilities Management Services, Small Business Size is $18.5 Mil. This solicitation is in support of an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison study and may or may not result in the award of a contract. Proposed contract is a Firm Fixed Price with Cost Reimbursement Items, for a Base Year and Four Option Years. See the Fort Riley Contracting homepage for the date and time of the site visit.
