Description

Red River Army Depot intends to issue a solicitation resulting in a requirements contract for track block rubber in support of its track rebuild program. Contract period will be 12 months. Items include: T107 Wheel Side, nsn 264000o0063, drawing 2000437, estimated quantity 300,000 pieces; T107 Ground Side, nsn 264000o0064, drawing 2000436, estimated quantity 300,000; and T142 Wheel Side, nsn 192072000632, drawing 2000632, estimated quantity 150,000 pieces. Material must conform to commercial item description (CID) A-A-52494 dated June 22, 1994. Samples for first article testing (FAT) are required for firms who have not previously provided this product to this Depot. Firms who have previously provided this product to Red River Army Depot may request, in writing, to have the requirement for FAT waived. Requests for waivers of FAT shall be requested from the Contracting Officer. Required samples consist of 10 pieces each of the T107 Wheel Side, T107 Ground Side and the T142 Wheel Side track block rubber. The sample pieces must be produced in accordance with the prescribed drawings. Samples must be provided in advance of the date set for receipt of proposals for FAT. FAT will consist of physical properties testing and ozone laboratory testing as cited in CID A-A-5294, MSDS are required to be submitted for all ingredients used. MSDS are to be submitted with the proposal.
