J -- Maintenance, Mosler Telelift Automated Mail System SOL SSA-RFQ-01-0359 DUE 120800 is extended to 121400 POC Dorothy Wilson Tel: (410) 965-8083 The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the inspection, testing, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of the Mosler Telelift Automated Mail System located at the Social Security Administration, Metro West Building, 300 N. Greene Street, Baltimore, MD. The term of the contract shall be a base period of one year and four 1-year option periods. This acquisition will be subject to Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regarding the acquisition of commercial items and to FAR Part 13.5 regarding the application of special simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items. NAICS code 23595 applies to this solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled on or about November 21,2000. The acquisition will also be subject to the conditions of the Service Contract Act. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed-price contract. Solicitation No. SSA-RFQ-01-0359 will be available on or about November 13, 2000. The RFQ will be available for download in electronic form http:/wwwfedbizups.gov. Interested parties may also receive the RFQ by mail if unable to download from the Internet. Request for the RFQ may be sent via telefax to (410) 966-1261. No telephone requests will be honored. Notice is given that the Wage Determination will not be available by electronic download in electronic form.
