Background "1.0 Introduction The T-1A Ground Based Training System (GBTS)is the evaluation task for the TSA II business opportunity. (http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/pixslibr/TSAT/TSAT.htm) Provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the T-1A GBTS and associated support equipment (excludes courseware and academic and simulator instructors). The T-1A GBTS includes 9 simulators and 14 Avionics Part Task Trainers (APTTs) located at 4 Main Operating Bases (MOBs), a Training Management System, and a Training System Support Center (TSSC). Updates and enhancements to the GBTS are accomplished through the TSSC which has two parts: the Media Support System and the Depot Maintenance Center (DMC). Maintenance is provided under the GBTS for simulators and Part Task Trainers to meet scheduled training requirements. 2.0 Background/Assumptions Cost and Schedule estimates provided by respondents should be based, as a minimum, on the attached Statement of Objectives. The SOW for the contract that this future effort will be replacing has been included simply to provide a sample of how GBTS CLS has been performed in the past. This is not to be taken as direction on how GBTS CLS must be performed in the future.
