Description

This solicitation is for a two year requirements type contract with three 1 year options. The effective dates will be 1 April 2001 through 31 March 2006 (if all options are exercised). The total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) will be 41,500 tons or app- roximately 8,300 tons per year. Delivery will be FOB destina- tion into contractor furnished storage vessels. Location for delivery is Kansas City, MO. Minimum order amount is 20 tons per day and maximum daily order amount is 100 tons per day. Inspec- tion for quality will be at origin and acceptance for quantity will be at destination. A Certificate of Conformance (COC) is acceptable. VIQ will be plus/minus 10%. Metering will be used to determine quantity. Contractor will be required to furnish tanks, pumps and equipment. These items will be seperately priced from the product. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
