Description
The US Army TACOM-ARDEC is conducting a market survey to identify potential contractors capable of manufacturing n-Methyl-p-nitroaniline (MNA), minimum of 98 % purity. MNA is an ingredient used in an energetic formulation being evaluated by the U.S. Army. A respondent should currently possess a manufacturing capability to produce MNA. A respondent s available production capacity must be sufficient to provide the U.S. Army a total quantity of MNA between 1,000 to 2,000 pounds per year. A follow up detailed questionnaire may be provided to survey respondents and on-site visits may be performed as a result of further analysis. Interested firms who feel they are capable of manufacturing n-Methyl-p-nitroaniline with a minimum purity of 98 % are invited to indicate their interest by providing to the U.S. Government a brief summary of their company s capabilities including a brief description of facilities, personnel, past production experience and environmental compliance as it relates to the above criteria. Also, interested firms should provide the manufacturer s name, address, point of contact with telephone number, email address, size of business (small/large) and/or country represented. This information must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of this publication to: U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Attn: AMSTA-AR-WEA, Mr. K.B. Yim, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 or e-mail to kyim@pica.army.mil. Also, if there are technical questions, the Point of Contact is Mr. K.B. Yim at (973) 724-5840. This is a market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. The information you provide will only be utilized by the U.S. Army in developing its acquisition approach for future n-Methyl-p-nitroaniline requirements.
