Description

Sources sought to furnish and install one 60HP packaged chiller system including glycol systems and titanium plate heat exchanger. Capacity 540,000 BTUH @ 30 degrees F suction and 90 degrees F ambient. Chiller will be installed at Bonneville Dam juvenile fish facility on Washington state shore of the Columbia River, adjacent to city of North Bonneville, WA. Unit shall consist of two completely independent 30HP chillers supplying glycol to a single titanium plate heat exchanger. The unit shall be equal or better than a Century Refrigeration model DD60H2-GC-HP with air cooled condensers and cylinder unloaders. The heat exchanger shall be equal or better than an Alfa Laval model M10-MFG. Temperature shall be controlled by a digital thermometer unloading the cylinders as required to maintain the seawater temperature at 10 degrees F. All equipment will be installed on a single concrete slab except the heat exchanger, which is to be installed on another slab within fifteen feet of the chiller. The Government will provide the concrete slabs, crane services to unload and position the equipment, all piping to the salt water side of the heat exchanger, conduit and wiring to bring power to the slab (480 volts 3-phase) from breakers upstream, and power required for contractor's tools. Installation required to be completed within ninety days of receipt of order. Site may be inspected by contacting Richard Frazier at 206-526-6226. If not providing the brand names above, provide detailed catalog cuts, brochures, or other identifying information to evaluate the equipment proposed. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
