DESCRIPTION: This is not a request for proposals. This request is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Headquarters Air Force Services Agency (HQ AFSVA) is seeking information from interested sources on Property Management Systems for Logistics Support Operations. The Property Management System should be an automated database based upon Scantron technology with the capability of title, stock number, asset designator inventory number, acquisition cost, location, and warranty information. The Property Management System should have a hand held terminal with a barcode scanner and a barcode label printer that can interface with a personal computer. This system should have the capability to produce bar code labels which are affixed to property. Labels should be able to withstand outdoor weather conditions (i.e. cold, hot, wet, humidity, etc.). The system should be user friendly to help HQ AFSVA logistics and activity managers quickly and accurately perform required inventories. Information submitted should be pertinent and specific to the technical area under consideration. There is no specific format or outline that your response must follow.
