Description
The Coast Guard intends to issue a request for proposal for the construction of seven 4-bedroom duplex and one 3-bedroom duplex housing structures (sixteen housing units, total) at U.S. Coast Guard facilities in Kodiak, Alaska. Five of the seven 4-bedroom structures include daylight basements, and the remaining three buildings are without basements. All main line utilities and street lighting are currently installed in the adjacent roadway. Construction includes coordination and connection of utilities to the housing units, concrete sidewalk construction, asphalt paving of housing unit driveways, above-ground fuel oil tanks, landscaping, yard fencing, and related construction activities. Contract duration is 455 days. The Government Estimate range is $5 to $10 million. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government based on price and past performance.
