Background "28 Nov 2000 Solicitation Nrs. F33600-00-R-0046, 0048, and 0067 are now combined into one solicitation. F33600-00-R-0048 and 0067 are being added to 0046. This will add one representative for 06 months starting 01 October 2000 and the possibility of two one-year options at Tinker AFB, OK. PR line Item Nr. 29-6C. The CETS Rep will provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance and advice in the evaluation of unusual field problems and render emergency technical advice related specifically to the F100-PW-100/200/220/220E/229 engine programs for F-15 and F-16 Aircraft at Tinker AFB, OK. In addition, one representative for 06 months starting 01 October 2000 and the possibility of two one-year options at Hill AFB, UT. PR Line Item Nr. 16-2. The CETS Rep will provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance and advice in the evaluation of unusual field problems and render emergency technical advice and assistane for secondary power systems, emergency power units, aircraft onboard auxiliary power units, and aircraft ground support gas turbine engines at Hill AFT, UT. The requirement for the AIS Microwave Test Station: F-15, Two-Level Maintenance AIS Test Station at Robins AFB, GA is now for 06 months starting 01 October 2000 with the possibility of one option year. This is being issued to Honeywell International, Inc,(previously named Allied Signal) 1300 West Warner Road, Tempe, AZ 85285. Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) to provide on-site proficiency training, technical guidance and advice in the evaluation of unusual field problems and to render emergency technical advice related specifically to the AIS Microwave Test Station: F-15, Two-Level Maintenance AIS Test Station at Robins AFB, GA. Liaison between the CETS representative and the manufacturer is required. This effort requires one representative for 12 months, starting 1 Oct 2000. PR line item number 30B-5J. The approximate issue date will be 27 April 2000 to Allied Signal, Inc., Teterboro, NJ 07608. An option year, 01 October 2001 -- 30 September 2002, may be awarded dependent upon approval of additional CETS requirements. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Security clearance will be required of all bidders/offers.
